  • Be 13+. Under 18s need parent / guardian say-so.
  • One account each. Don't share, don't multi-account.
  • Be decent. No harassment, spam, or impersonation.
  • You own your stuff. Delete it (and your account) anytime.

Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using the Nibbul application ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Thomas Hughes, the operator of Nibbul ("we", "us"). Email hello@nibbul.co.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nibbul. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you're under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share your magic-link login codes with anyone. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

You may only create one account. Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban or restriction is prohibited.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nibbul to:

  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
  • Send spam, bulk messages, or unsolicited commercial communications
  • Share illegal content, including content that infringes third-party intellectual property
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or degrades the Service for other users

Content

You own the content you send through Nibbul. By sending content, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit it solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

We don't read your messages except where required by law or to investigate a report of a serious violation of these Terms.

Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. All your data is permanently deleted immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service puts other users or our infrastructure at risk.

Availability

We aim to keep Nibbul available at all times but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance or updates without notice. We're not liable for any loss caused by downtime.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nibbul, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of £50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (Nibbul is currently free, so this limit is £50).

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app or by email. Continued use of Nibbul after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
